420 Leinsters in Howth 2+3 May

The 420 Leinsters will be held at Howth Yacht Club on 2+3 May (Saturday and Sunday)

The entry fee is €70 per boat (before 24 April) and €90 per boat if entered after that.

Dinner for helm and crew on Saturday night is included in the entry fee !

Irish Youth Nationals - RCYC - 9-12 April

The 2015 ISA Youth Nationals will be held at RCYC on 9-12 April (Thursday – Sunday)

This is the first of the Selector Series for the Worlds and Junior Europeans.

Open Training in Howth on Saturday 21st March

ISA 420 coach Ross Killian will be the lead coach for Open Training at HYC (Howth Yacht Club) on Saturday 21st March.

Cost will be €60 per boat.

British Inland Championships Rutland Sailing Club (14+15 March)

This is an open event and ISA coach Ross Killian will provide support on the water for all Irish sailors attending.

If anyone is interested in going to this event, please confirm your interest to John Elmes by Sunday night (22 Feb) at the latest.

420 Open Training: Schull 15-18 February 2015

The Irish 420 Association are holding 4 days open training in Schull from Sunday 15 to Wednesday 18 February (inclusive).

This coaching will be for all levels, both those new to the 420 and more experienced. The coaching will be run by ISA 420 Coach Ross Killian.  The training will be based at the Schull Sailing Centre (FMOEC) Colla Road, Schull.  Schull Sailing

420 Leinster Championships, 13th,14th September Wexford Harbour BTC

Leinsters 2014The Irish 420 Leinster Championships takes place in the Wexford Harbour Boat and Tennis Club Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th August. The Notice of Race for the event is available as an attachment below.

This is the first time that the 420 will be travelling to Wexford. The Club has hosted many big events including the Laser Leinsters recently.

Briefing will be at 1045 and first gun is scheduled for 12.10 on Saturday. After sailing on Saturday there is a dinner in the Club. There will also be a steak dinner for parents in the Club. More details on registration.

There is camping available at the Club. Please contact Dave.  It is a busy weekend in Wexford so book a B+B early. Some space may be available in homes of Club sailors.

Ulster 420 Championship, 10th and 11th May Country Antrim Yacht Club

County Antrim Yacht Club

County Antrim Yacht Club Welcome the 420's for the first time this May. CAYC is located in Whitehead about 15 miles North of Belfast, so is very easy to get to. The sailing waters are straight out from the Club, so no long sail out. The entry fee for this event is 60STG. NOR out shortly.
