We are pleased to announce an exciting sailing programme for the Irish 420 Class for 2016. The calendar of events is intended to support both the younger and more experienced 420 teams.

We are delighted to publish a guide to the measurement certs and documentation that you require for competitive sailing (particularly abroad) in the 420 class.

Curradinghy 2016 Munster Championships



We are delighted to publish the notice of race and entry form for the Curradinghy 420 Munster Championships 2016 which is being held in Schull on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th February.  Entry can be submitted in advance by February or at mid-term coaching registration on Saturday 13th February.  Please see entry form for further details.

Association Mid-Term Open Training and Curradinghy 2015 Munster Championships

The Irish 420 Association are holding 3 days Open Training in Schull from Sunday 14th to Tuesday 16th February inclusive with Wednesday 17th February as a reserve day in case of severe weather.
Fastnet Marine and Outdoor Education Centre (FMOEC) will also be hosting the Curradinghy 420 Munster Championships 2016 on Thursday 18th and Friday 19th February.

March 5th and 6th - RCYC
March 26th and 27th - HYC
The HYC dates are the previous weekend to the ISA Youth Nationals at the same venue, so this will be a great opportunity to get some practice and tra

Save the date ... Mid-term Open Coaching and 420 Munster Championships 2016


We are delighted to confirm that Open Coaching and the 420 Munster Championships 2016 will take place once again in Schull Sailing Centre during the February Mid-Term break .

Coaching will take place from Saturday13th (registration only) to Tuesday16th February with Ross Killian - ISA National Coach - leading the coaching team.  The Munster Championships will take place on Thursday18th and Friday 19th.


The Committee are currently looking at accommodation options and will announce full details of both events in the coming days.
