420 New Year Training Camp 2010 - Jan 2nd - 6th incl. & Mid term Camp 11th - 19th February 2010 18/12/09
Dear Sailor,
We are pleased to announce that the Irish 420 Class Association has planned two training clinics for early in 2010. The New Year clinic will take place in Baltimore from the 2nd of January to the 5th. Midterm clinic will be located in Schull from the 11th to the 14th of February then it will transfer to Baltimore for the final five days from the 15th to the 19th. If weather permits the boats will be sailed to Baltimore from Schull when relocating.
We would be very grateful if you could book early for both of these clinics by filling out the attached application form, this will help us ascertain how many coaches are needed. Tom Mapplebeck plans to bring in another coach with international experience to help run the sessions in Baltimore. A rules clinic is planned for the first four days of the Midterm clinic, this will be run by David Harte and Tom. We would like to encourage as many sailors as possible to attend this regardless of whether they have a partner to sail with as it promises to be very worthwhile. The clinics are suitable for 420sailors of all ages and levels including those that normally sail only from their local clubs. You can be assured that we will try our best to keep the cost of the clinics as inexpensive as possible.
